The Backyard Ultra Crew
โThis past weekend, several VTLZR athletes stepped into the pain cave at the Backyard Ultra with Infinite Coaching, where they ran a 4.2-mile loop every hour on the hour.
๐ฅ Matt Zelaya, Elizabeth Spadafino, Wesam Elhayek, and Dan Nunes each logged all 50 miles, showing dominant mental and physical endurance.
๐ฅ Katherine Fahsbender clocked an impressive 39 miles, just after dominating at HYROX Worlds. 12 hours of resilience, mindset, and choosing to keep showing up.

๐ฅ Fitness Tip of the Week: Fiber Is Fuel
Fiber isnโt just for digestion โ itโs a key player in performance, recovery, and long-term health. For athletes, fiber supports:

Stable energy by slowing digestion and balancing blood sugar
โ
Gut health, which affects everything from immunity to nutrient absorption
โ
Reduced inflammation and improved cholesterol
โ
Feeling full longer, making it easier to dial in body comp goals
Aim for 25โ35g per day, and get it from whole sources like oats, berries, beans, chia seeds, lentils, and leafy greens.
๐ณ Just a heads-up: if you go from 0 to 35g overnight, your next run might turn into a sprint... to the bathroom. Ease in, and drink water to keep things moving (literally).
